JONATHAN'S NOOB BLOG

The Thursday of this week was extremely funny! In my class, the students are mainly divided into two portions, the 'cool' and the 'uncool'. One of the most unpopular people in my class is called Tian Cheng, but he asks us to call him orange. The reasons that make him unpopular is that he gives off a arrogant feeling but he is unknowing of his bad points, he is also obese and because of this quality, he 'cheats' in his 2.4. Moreover, he is smart BUT he boasts in a subtle way, and he sucks up to all the teachers to the point that you just feel extremely annoyed and frustrated.
As you can infer from the start of this passage, this  story gets really funny now. In the middle of class, 'orange' saw one of our class's more flexible students doing a split , as usual because of his ego he tried to do a split. However he failed miserably, and tore a huge hole of a 4 inch length in his pants, everyone was laughing and the whole class was a cacophony of sounds. Unbelievably, some of the braver students took out their phones to take a photo of one of 'oranges' most embarrassing moments. By the time next period's teacher came, the whole class was turned into a a total ruckus, but whats more the teacher was totally unaware of the situation. To end that unforgettable day, 'orange' made a beeline straight to the toilet where he stapled his pants shut and to be honest, he still looked pretty silly. That was a day that I am never about to forget anytime soon.

Hello everyone out there in the world, if you have read the previous post you would know that my name is Jonathan and I am from Victoria Secondary School. Everyone has probably thought that I am fairly normal. However, after I mention this piece of information to you, you will possibly never think of me in the same way forever. I enjoy doing weird things alone like most other people with no lives, but out of all of them, the one thing I enjoy doing the most is taking pictures of people when they look the silliest or the most disgusting. One of the reasons for me doing this is to remind myself of others silly behaviour and that others, including foreigners. Speaking of which, I think that Singaporeans need to improve their etiquette in public places varying from bus stops to airports where many eyes are on us. Examples are below (man and boy on the bus). I think that if my friends knew about this, they would classify me as a 'weirdo'. It might be quite evil of me to do this but for some sick reason I enjoy it. So far I 'caught' only two 'culprits', the posture i take I don't really place on the web for consideration of the victims. I really hope that Singaporeans will pay attention to their outer appearance as that is the only thing that people only look for. Thus, they should pay extra attention to the image of Singaporeans and not of themselves and should really try to preserve it.

Let me introduce myself, I am Jonathan Tan and I am from Victoria School NCC Land unit.I would say that my performance in my CCA is average as there are many others who are better than me. However I would never have expected that I would be selected with 10 or so other Victorians in the same CCA to participate in the annual NCC Land Freestyle Drills Competition. This is a very prestigious event, if I may say so myself. Out of the blue, after last week's training, the NCC Land teacher in charge approached me and informed me that I was selected to be in the Freestyle Drill team. This piece of news left me standing there in shock thinking "out of all the people to be selected, why me?" I dreaded the thought of myself being selected as it would take up too much of my time and right now the only thing I needed was time to study for my exams. As it turned out, the training was intense which left me exhausted every Wednesday. Incidentally, there was a mix up in the name list and one of the members could not participate, the person replacing him was my classmate, Dexter. Now that I have a friend in the same team as me I am happier, as I know that I can talk to someone or someone can keep me company during the tiring training. I will strive hard to improve my performance and hope that my efforts will put my school to be in the top three of the competition this year as we only managed to clinch the 3rd place in last year's competition. Onwards Victoria School!

During the December holidays of the previous year, I went to the most fabulous place ever! Cairns, Australia but out of that eleven day trip the best days of it were the first 3 days spent in a small island called green island.

The weather there was absolutely perfect not too warm and not too cold, my father and I went snorkeling on the 2nd day and the water was so calm that day that all the marine life could be seen.

I am confident to say that that might have been the most beautiful thing I have seen in my whole life. After the great time my father and I had,we went to see the fish feeding and the humongous fishes that came punctually from the ocean for their dinner. One fine example would be this huge grouper.

When the grouper came, many other fishes joined it to feast in the delicacies that were being casted into the ocean, which included raw salmon and their own composition of organic substances which scientist deemed healthy for the fishes. In my opinion , I think that the food is too good for just fishes to eat.

Finally,to put an end to this miraculous day,we went back to our fabulous island resort which was rather extravagant. We had paid for 2 rooms each room had 2 beds, a bathroom and a balcony. No wonder we had to pay so much for the 3 nights stay!

Recently, I have gotten addicted to a FPS(first person shooter) game called sudden attack. Above are some of the game photos, I find this game so addictive as it allows me to interact with my friends and at the same time it allows me to release my stress also relieving my boredom. However, whenever I play the game I get very agitated for some weird reason, i think it is because the game is too exciting. Furthermore, in this game you can 'die' and when that happens a sudden feeling will rush through me and a sudden burst of anger will overcome me. For my case, when I am angry i will start spewing profanities of every kind, sadly this game also has a chat box. Every moment my friends see it, it is filled with angry curses of most of the players, this makes their blood boil and at the same time they will add to this monstrous concoction of profanities. The newspapers have just confirmed my worst fears, a Korean(the game originated from Korea) boy who was also in the same state of most of the online players had brutally killed his mother and after which committed suicide. This is so scary as all the anger bottled up inside him had just burst out making him kill his own mother, it is so frightening to hear this news as the same thing can just happen to anyone of us even some of the most sane people are vulnerable to such distractions. These distractions will likely take over entire beings and corrupt them. After I had read this piece of news, I am trying to overcome my horrid addiction and hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
